Last week on my personal Facebook I wrote an update about this phenomenon that collected a few “Likes”. After seeing a commerical on TV for a storage facility where a wife attempts to throw out all her husband’s prized possessions I got to thinking “What’s up with that?”.
So tell me ladies, what is the relentless need to throw out our memory-rich material things that you feel merely take up space? You knew this about us from the beginning and then go ahead and marry us anyway. My sister and I had a conversation about this, and my mother who had no knowledge of this conversation also mentioned this spot. Am I nuts assuming this is a widespread difference between the sexes or is it only my issue that the women in my life “see me” in a commercial on the topic?
We are not that deep. We like our stuff. Explain to me why we can’t reach a compromise.
