I don’t really believe much in the self-serving Hollywood awards shows, but this flick is sure to win some – even if only for cinematography, art direction and music. I loved the opening title sequence, and got my money’s worth right there!
No, this is not guest art. If you are reading the blog, I am re-drawing the character designs to start off the New Year. The back-story of Krishna is that he was introduced as a mean-spirited, self-important IT guy back in the IT Friend With Benefits story arc, but I started to enjoy drawing him so much that he morphed into the “best friend at work” character. I know, the Cast page needs some loving.
Thanks for indulging me as I try out this approach, it really is helping renew my interest in drawing the strip for you, even if Krishna gets a little Disney-like in the middle panel. You can see this scenario in the old look by clicking here.
