This week I’m highlighting guest strips - with a twist - while I am off plotting a new direction.
Today brings my first guest strip ever. Thanks to the talented, generous, uber-busy Carlo San Juan, MD who brings us The Callous Comic Strip. There is a certain indescribable feeling you get when you see your own characters treated by another artist. Someone once said it was “cool”, but I think that’s an understatement. Carlo captured the vibe, the personality, and the attitude and provided a wonderful up-beat moment during a particularly difficult summer. Be sure to check out The Land of the Guardians storyline from the beginning while you’re there. Thank you, Caz.
The twist is that for the next six days after today, I’ll feature guest strips I have done for others in the webcomics community. Perhaps I’ll turn you on to one you didn’t already know about. New strips from me return Tues. July 27, 2010.

I’ve always liked “My Life in the Trenches”. It has a similar look at life that “Callous” does (well, usually anyway, when things don’t go into another world or anything) so I was pretty much compelled to make this little unsolicited homage to a series that was very very quickly growing on me!
