Then again, you’re only guilty if you get caught.
This doesn’t necessarily include the obvious content, but can also involve material that is deemed immature, juvenile and/or sophomoric. In fact, I haven’t seen “Dumb and Dumber” because it celebrates stupidity and I need to front as if I have a higher intellect.
There are certainly some stand-up comics that I like whose language is inappropriate for family viewing. I’m hearing a lot about David Cross, so his stand-up routine is on tap to watch soon, and I highly recommend anything by Christopher Titus, once the kids are in bed.
In fact, the last time I saw one of Titus’ specials “Love is Evol”, I wasn’t only LOL. I was laughing so hard ALONE to the extent where I couldn’t catch my breath, the kind of uncontrollable convulsive laughter that usually only happens when you are out with friends at a comedy club. Jim Gaffigan is another favorite as well.
In fact, over the holiday break when I tune up the website, I’ll probably add them to the Links page as influences.
Who do you like? What comedians actually strike you as doing something unique?

I know what you mean! I share my instant stream with my sister who is a 19-year-old girl. So my recently watched is full of things like Laguna Beach and Sleepless in Seattle. It’s only a bit embarrassing when my friends come over and see my recently watched, “I swear I wasn’t watching The Notebook!”
Ya bet me to it. I was going to say the same thing.
We always know who has been watching Netflix last.
