If you really want to go against the grain, go with a Windows Mobile 8 phone. The Lumia 920 (Nokia) is pretty sweet, and it also had a great campaign (albeit mainly in Europe), and the HTC 8X is also nice, but without the great hardware.

Then there’s the really counter everything, the Nokia Pureview 808, which runs Symbian Bell. It’s got a 41 MP camera. (Forty-One, not Four point one) and other ridiculous hardware.
