Another “lost” weekend with the wife and kids out of the country on Spring Break. Suffice it to say, I went with something more escapist while simultaneously trying digital distribution for the first time. Using Gamestop’s PC download, I went back in time; I’ve always been curious about “Assassin’s Creed” so I’ll start this franchise from the beginning.
I did a strip recently about the fan noise on my PC, and have ordered an upgraded video card direct from Dell. My first foray into the game set the fan a-blowing. Nerve-wracking, but not surprising. The new graphics card isn’t coming till Monday but the game allows me a before/after opportunity, even though the catalyst was to run UDK from Epic Games with a silent upgrade to my workstation.
In other matters, this is Good Friday. The firm I joined a the end of 2011 is closed, and I can’t remember tha last time Easter was a three-day weekend.
