You can rest assured that I was putting this comic about pop prices together last night, I was playing the Donna Summer channel on Pandora.

If you are in the Archive and reading from the future,  The Queen of Disco passed away last night at age 62. Her genre may be uncool to some of you out there, and I think I joined the dance club in middle school (cause that’s where the girls were, duh) but never really genuinely liked it until I started to play disco on bass guitar. I also love synths and she used a lot of them. However, we just had a Whitney Houston comic tribute so I couldn’t manage another so soon.

The tributes are coming in, that her long-form pieces were the pre-cursor to trance. She came to prominence pleasuring herself on a recording only to become “born again” and walk away from the song that made her famous. It’s going to make a good biopic, I think. I’m hoping for Rihanna to star. R.I.P. Donna Summer.

Regards,
Tim
