A friend on Facebook was irate that NBC reported the outcome of a London 2012 event yesterday prior to the broadcast to American audiences; the definitive spoiler alert.
Conversely, I was home alone Friday night for the Opening Cermonies and I looked ahead on cnn.com to gauge whether the Olympics would win over Xbox for my evening’s entertainment. The preview of the Queen parachuting with James Bond helped make the choice, even though I thought it was outlcassed by the Bejing Opening Ceremonies from 2008.
