It’s not so much that the concept of time zones is hard to conceive as a kid. As I was growing up I didn’t really care about the Oscars. Nowadays you can’t escape broadcast news’ 24/7 obsession with the motion picture industry’s narcissism.
So I don’t care. But if I did, Natalie Portman certainly deserved hers for “Black Swan”. She has come a long way from the stiff and wooden performance in “The Phantom Menace”.
Let’s not even get me started on “The Social Network”, when I finally saw the rental this week I hated it as much as I thought I would. I am somehow pleased it didn’t take any major statues home. The opposite occured with “Inception” which I wanted to dislike, but loved.
One thing that “The Social Network” did teach was when the angry ex-girlfriend blasts Zuck for putting his rant about her online, because it’s forever. I’m concerned I may be disclosing too much here sometimes. I’m not a dope. really.

I never can figure out when tv shows are on when I am on the west coast.
Thanks, Bearman. Glad I’m not alone. Loved today’s Charlie Sheen strip. BTW.
Hey now, our show schedules aren’t that confusing.
Besides, that’s why they invented TiVo and DVR’s.
I tend to set shows to self-destruct in two days. If it wasn’t important enough to get to it in two days, then I probably never would.
