As the saying goes, you are “entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.”
I have spent a large part of my life drawing inspiration and motivation from the knowledge described in the first panel. I often tossed it about whenever it was germaine to the conversion and context.
I was wrong. Really wrong. Maybe if I convince myself that Gary Larson didn’t begin his great work until he was seventy-five I might be consoled. Don’t check the facts on Wikipedia, just take my word for it.
