This one is a literal re-enactment of how it all went down except I omitted text in the first panel; they were actually reading aloud to each other when I arrived and like an idiot I sat down anyway since I figured “this can’t go on long”.

It’s the same library where a guy on a public computer was playing streaming music for all to hear. I love Pandora and may opt-in for a paid account any day, but in the library?

It also serves as a metaphor for a lifelong quest. To quote Bill Cosby (who comforted me that I wasn’t such an oddball) :
